The National Credit Act formally introduced Debt Counselling to assist over-indebted consumers by developing a debt repayment plan, which is affordable to you as well as acceptable to all your Credit Providers.
Step 1 - Debt Assessment
It’s free of charge and only takes a few minutes. Complete our online debt assessment and provide us with the details of your financial situation.
Step 2 - Setup your Rescue Plan
Once your plan is approved, you will be placed under Debt Review and legally protected from your credit providers. You’ll pay one reduced monthly payment, tailored to your budget, with enough money left to cover your essential living expenses.
Step 3 - Under Protection
We’ll inform all your Credit Providers and the Credit Bureaus that you are under Debt Review.
Step 4 - Debt repayment based on what you can afford
Your debt counsellor will create a new repayment plan that combines all your debts into one manageable monthly amount, tailored to what you can afford. This helps you stay on top of your finances, cover your living costs, and make steady progress toward a debt-free future.
Step 5 - The process is finalised
Our specialised attorneys will submit your new repayment plan to the court to be granted as a formal court order.
